RECOGNITION AND APPROVALS

Antonio Leano with George Bush

In order for the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara School of Medicine to confer the degree of Physician-Surgeon to students from the United States and to be eligible to participate in the U.S. Federal Family Education Loan Programs, the UAG must pass through rigorous on-site visits and accreditations from different organizations. Since our graduates practice in 15 countries, including the United States, our academic standards must meet the highest requirements of each country. Suffice it to say that the myriad of academics and clinical exposure far exceeds standards set forth by these countries.

The U.S. Department of Education has provided loans to students of the UAG. The Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara has one of the lowest default rates in the Nation.
