You may request your documentation through our office in San Antonio, Texas or directly through the Academic Service office in Guadalajara.  The office in San Antonio, Texas is NOT a processing office; however, the San Antonio office will act as a Liaison between you and Guadalajara.  You may contact us to check on the status of your request.

CERTIFICATE OF MEDICAL EDUCATION

 

When requesting a license to practice medicine in the United States, you will need to obtain a licensing application packet from the state board that you are seeking licensure. Please read instructions carefully and send the forms the school needs to complete.

Processing time varies from 4 to 6 weeks, depending on the number of forms and also the type of clinical breakdown that is required.

Here are some examples of forms required by state boards that the UAG has certified in the past:

NOTE:  Please be aware that some states will require transcripts, translations and clinical clerkships, while others will require additional items.
Please contact the state board agencies that you are applying to for information on forms that are needed.  Or you may contact isao@uag.edu for the forms that will be needed for licensure in the state you are applying to.

NOTES:

* Students usually apply the first time during the 7th semester – when we send a package that includes (1) Constancia and the translation as well as a set of letters of reference from the professors.

* Failure to submit payment for service will delay your request. Processing time does not include mailing time nor do the fees include any special delivery or courier.
