COST OF ATTENDANCE (COA)
The Cost of Attendance (COA) is a calculation of the total cost to attend school for one year. UAG calculations are based on a standard definition passed by Congress.
The COA may vary depending on your lifestyle. Tuition and fees will remain fixed throughout your course of study. Restrictions may apply. Contact your Financial Aid Counselor for more information.
The COA is comprised of direct and indirect costs. Direct costs include all fees payable to UAG, such as tuition, special courses and other fees. Indirect costs include housing, food, supplies, transportation, personal expenses, immigration fees, etc.
Your current consumer debt is not part of the COA, only educational-related items are eligible. We strongly recommend paying off your credit card(s), car payments, mortgage, etc. prior to entering school, since these items are not included in your COA. You must plan in advance how to pay off and/or cancel all (or part) of your consumer debt before attending school. This will allow you to better manage your funds during your course of study and avoid any consumer debt defaults, negatively affecting your credit score.
Click on the link below for a list of approved items in the Cost of Attendance. Please plan accordingly as no extra funds will be available after you have met your COA each year.
The amounts shown are the maximums allowed but UAG encouragesyou to borrow only what you need.
