The Department of Veteran Affairs provides information about educational benefits for veterans and their children.

Before requesting enrollment verification for your Medical School for VA benefits, you must contact your local VA Regional Office. From within the U.S., you may dial their toll-free number: 1-888-442-4551. If you are calling from outside the U.S., you need to contact the Buffalo Regional Office at 716-857-3196 or 716-857-397. Once connected, immediately enter “option 1” to be placed in a priority queue. Calling from outside the U.S. is not a toll free number but priority will be given for the next available Customer Service Representative.
