American Students Association (NASA)
NASA is a student umbrella organization at UAG School of Medicine that
provides a wide spectrum of academic support and extracurricular activities to enrich student life. Through the work of NASA's Executive Committee, students have access to health insurance, social events, organize sports activities, a structured student government, a symposium series, and much more. Under NASA, students also have access to membership in the 
UAG chapters of the American Medical Association. Among NASA's many important duties is the oversight of the current policies of governing bodies in American Medicine, including federal and state legislation, which impact international medical graduates. NASA acts as necessary to protect and to enhance the position of UAG students and graduates.
