If you
have any charges or unpaid fees you will have to pay them when
you register or pay your tuition.
Registration
and attendance after the conclusion of the first week of classes,
requires the written approval of the appropiate Professors,
Directors of the Program and Dean of the School.
Class attendance is required in all courses of medical school.
A student who, for any reason may not be present in classes
for the first two weeks or pay the tuiton during this period,
won't be able to stay in the school.
Withdrawal
from Courses and Leave of Absence Policy
In order
to officially withdraw or take a leave of absence from school
it is necessary for a student to complete a form that is available
only at the International Students' Affairs Office in Guadalajara.
The official date of withdrawal is when the form is signed by
the Director of the International Students' Affairs Office in
Guadalajara.
Re-Admission
may be possible under UAG policies.
Students may apply for a leave of absence, if they intend to
be away from the University for a full semester.
This will change your tuition if you leave for two semesters.
There is not partial leave of absence.
The student is responsible for ensuring that the completed withdrawal
or leave of absence form, seals and signatures are in order.

Plus the
resulting amount due to the University.
There are no refunds if the student withdraws without official
notice, or because of excessive absences, unsatisfactory academic
performance, dismissal, unofficial leave of absence or asked
to withdraw.
Failure
to attend class or simple notification to an instructor is not
regarded as an official withdrawal.
Annual
Refund Repayment Policy for Students under Loan System
The refund-
repayment system is in accordance with U.S. Title IV regulations.
Any amount
available for refund will be returned to its sources.
For students
beyond first semester with irregular class schedule or part-time
load (carga menor), the amount for refund will be returned to
its sources.
First time
students are refunded on a pro-rata basis in accordance with
U.S. Title IV regulations; an administrative fee of 100.00 USD
will be charged.
There
are no refunds if the student withdraws without official notice

and dismissal or is asked to withdraw. Failure to attend class

Financial
Information
All students
are required to pay the full semester's tuition and fees - first
week of classes. If not, there will be a charge on their financial
statement of a 2% interest from first day of second week.
If students
don´t pay the tuition during the second week of classes they
won't be able to stay in the school.
Students
who have not met their total financial obligations to the UAG,
may not be permitted to enroll for a next academic term.
Tuition
remains fixed from the time a student begins his/her studies.
It will
change if a student leaves the school for two semesters.
A student
is responsible for ensuring that all documents for the loan
process, are in the UAG Financial Aid Office in San Antonio,
TX, on time.
There are
deadlines for student loan applications.
You will
receive written information from UAG Financial Aid Office in
San Antonio, TX., with the probable date of your disbursement.
Students
beyond first semester must bring the registration fee receipt
in order to fill a loan application.
The Universidad
Autónoma de Guadalajara reserves the right to alter any and
all charges and to do so during the academic year at the discretion
of the board of trustees.
