New
MD-MSA Program
A
new academic offering has been created for those students that
are looking for a field in medicine within the administration
area.
This
new program will provide the opportunity to earn a degree in Medicine
and at the same time obtain a degree of Master in Science Administration
with a concentration in Health Services Administration. It has
been designed to provide the knowledge and skills required for
directors, administrators and supervisors in health services.
In addition, physicians must understand and manage costs, manage
and work effectively in groups, and effectively manage themselves.
They also must appreciate the role of information technology in
relation to managing the cost of medical care and its impact on
individuals and society.
This
is a joint program of the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara
(UAG) School of Medicine and Central Michigan University to train
the leaders of Medicine in the "Globalization Era" of
the 21st Century.
