Camaraderie and Sports
Identify NASA’S Spring Fling

In an atmosphere of fun, students from the UAG School of Medicine participated in the traditional Spring Fling organized by the North American Student’s Association (NASA).

The Spring Fling allows a brief respite from the daily hectic schedule of being a medical student.  Sports such as basketball, volleyball, soccer and flag football provided a variety of activities in which to participate.  Truth be told, kickball was the most popular game of the day.  Students participated in this game from early morning on to late afternoon.

One must not fail to mention the great hamburgers, and desserts that were served up to provide energy and refreshment.

Families and friends of the students also were able to take advantage of this Spring Fling.  There was a trampoline for the youngsters in the audience and many brought along their pets.

This annual rite of the celebration of spring was made complete by the ongoing music provided.  The Spring Fling, as always, provided a brief hiatus in studies – a time to rest, to take pictures, to enjoy the sports and an opportunity to make memories with classmates.
