Mr. Leaño presented various renditions of the new buildings and classroom designs. All this remodeling will take place without interrupting class times.

QUALITY AND IMPROVEMENTS CONTINUE
Dean of the Health Sciences Area, Dr. Luis Enrique Arámburo Tirado, made mention that during 2012, great strides were taken to ensure that the goals of the Master Development Plan for the UAG School of Medicine were met. Along with the professorship attending more seminars and symposia, the Master Plan also encompasses the updating of study programs in order to maintain high quality teaching.
Dr. Arámburo also mentioned the new agreement signed with the IMSS (Instituto Mexicano de Seguro Social). This agreement allows our medical students to have access not only to a multitude of hospitals within the Social Security health system but also to the various areas of research.
Another noteworthy aspect signaled by the Dean was the change in the administrative process. This change will simplify the process yet continue to increase the quality of communication.
Finally, the Dean stated that the changes were focused on improving the quality of teaching. Students will benefit the most from these changes and be better prepared to meet and to respond to the demands of the ever-changing market.
