We are excited about your interest in the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara. The Admissions Department strives to assist students with admissions, enrollment and attainment of educational goals.

This section will walk you through the application process.

1. Before you start your application

The admissions portal allows prospective students to apply and follow up with their admissions process

  • Register and open an account
  • You will receive an e-mail with instructions on how to login.
  • The application has 9 sections
1. Personal Information 6. Awards and Extracurricular Activities
2. Contact Information 7. Upload Documents & Notes
3. Medical & Personal History 8. Financial Aid & Survey
4. Relatives Information 9. Attestation and Certification
5. Academic History

  • The progress bar at the top of the application page gives you the % of completion in each page. At the bottom of each page you will find the navigation buttons:
    • Save
    • Previous
    • Next
    • Submit
  • Some fields are numeric (these fields do not accept alphabetical or special characters).
  • Some pages are bigger than the screen; use the scroll bar on the right to navigate.
  • The academic history has a left and right scroll bar and an up and down scroll bar.
  • To be able to get the MCAT sum, you must save the data in this section.
  • Attachments must be less than 3MB in PDF format.
  • All fields with an (*) are mandatory.
  • Save data before continuing to the next page.

2. Start your application online

You are strongly encouraged to apply as quickly as possible, to ensure that your application will be processed on timely manner.

To start your application you will need to create an account. Most applicants complete and submit the application during one session. However, you may save your application and returns to it later.

3. Send in documentation

It's a good idea to have everything prepared before you start your application so you're not trying to track down information at the last minute Checklist

In addition to submitting your application, you will need to provide supplemental documentation in order for your application to be considered complete.

4. Schedule an Interview

After receiving and reviewing your application and supplemental documentation, you may receive an official invitation to interview.

Applicants have the option of selecting San Antonio, TX or Guadalajara, Mexico as their interview site.

Official documents and fees must be submitted to the appropriated Admissions Office before the interview.

5. Decision Notification

We will contact you by email to notify you of the specific date and time that admission decisions will become available. At the specified time, you may log in to your application checklist to view your admission decision.
