Welcome to UAG School of Medicine
All incoming students must attended the Student Orientation. This comprehensive orientation includes lunch, a resource fair, and workshops that provide information to ease your transition, introduce you to campus services, and involvement opportunities, and show you just how much UAG has to offer. It is a great opportunity to:
– Get to know the campus
– Meet classmates and faculty
– Register for classes
– Participate in the white coat ceremony
The International Students Affairs Office (ISAO) will be assisting the new students to gain knowledge of UAG student support, services, academic life, and help reduce anxiety about the transition to UAG and México lifestyle. Complete registration requirements and understanding your personal, legal and financial responsibilities.

What To Expect at Orientation
Orientation is designed to introduce our incoming class to the UAG community and get prepared for their first semester.
During this day you’ll be part of the following activities which will begin by registering, followed by a welcome message.You’ll then be gathered for a class photo and students are to wear business attire; (beards and goatees are not allowed for 1st day of orientation).
Information about Immigration, Financial Aid will also be provided.
During this day you’ll register for your classes, Financial Aid, Immigration process for all non-Mexican Citizens and meet with the registrar office. You’ll receive a handbook and class schedule.
Be sure to bring the following:
– Student Visa (all Non-Mexican Citizen)
It is always advisable to carry extra funds for unanticipated expenses.
Welcome Picnic Day
Welcome Picnic is an event that helps new students integrate into their new environment and also meet other students.
This is a perfect time for students from all semesters to meet and purchase textbooks sold by upper-class students. You’ll also able to enjoy the food sponsored by the Students Associations.
After You attend Orientation
