Margaretville, NY – Dr. Paul Llobet, Margaret Hospital’s medical director, became the critical-access hospital’s executive director. He replaces Sandra Horan, who held the position since 2010 in addition to being the chief nursing officer of Health Alliance of the Hudson Valley. Horan remains as CNO and adds management oversight of Health Alliance Mental Health Services, Health Alliance President and Chief Executive Officer David Scarpino said in announcing the change. Margaretville Hospital’s new medical director will be announced shortly. Llobet’s new leadership position includes responsibilities for Margaretville Hospital’s day-to-day operations. “He will carry out his work in concert with the overall direction of the HealthAlliance healthcare system as part of the HealthAlliance Executive Cabinet,” Scarpino said. Llobet, board certified in internal medicine, has been with Margaretville Hospital since September 2010. He started out as the emergency room director before becoming the medical director in 2012.
